Nambu Bijin - Beauty of Nambu - was established in 1902. Kosuke Kuji, who is responsible for breweries product range, is the fifth generation of his family to run the business. The toji, or master brewer, Hajime Yamaguchi is one of the contemporary master craftsmen certified by the Japanese government and supervises a team of young kurabito (sake brewers) with an average age of 29. None of the sakes produced here are charcoal filtered, so the natural flavor can be enjoyed. Our aim, say Nambubijin, is to make cheerful sake that makes people smile when they taste it.
