October 1st Tokyo: Today, Japan Airlines System Corporation, the newly created holding company

for the new JAL Group held a ceremony to mark the company’s formal listing on Tokyo Stock Exchange

and the stock exchanges in Osaka and Nagoya. Trading in the new company’s stock began today.

The stock closed at 310 yen per share. The holding company formally comes into being on October 2.
