Safety Operations

We pledge to maintain the safety of every JAL flight
Kiyoshi Kishida, General Manager, Corporate Safety Division
We inaugurated the Corporate Safety Division on April 1, 2006. This move was based on a recommendation by the Safety Advisory Group to establish a central organization responsible for safety to report to top management. Safety is our first priority and the company as a transport organization is responsible for preserving the lives of its passengers.

Keeping in mind that safety is the most important issue for customers, I will work to promote safety, make all possible efforts to disclose safety information and provide customers safe and comfortable flights.

On these pages, you can find information on safety measures in the flight, maintenance, passenger-cabin, airport and cargo divisions of JAL Group airlines. There is information about safety incidents and countermeasures taken, numbers of aircraft, safety equipment and flight-operation control.
