Event : The Third in a Series of Evenings With Sake: Savoring Freshly-pressed Sake
Sake breweries from all over Japan will come together to give guests at this event an idea of what those involved in sake breweries think and feel about sake. Guests can enjoy 93 different brands of sake from 31 breweries, including this season’s first brews or limited-editions not available through retail channels. The party includes a sit-down dinner featuring foods that go well with Japanese sake, such as tokobushi (round abalone), baked sea eggs, karasumi (dried mullet roe), and wild matsutake mushrooms. We hope that you will choose to spend your long autumn nights with a good Japanese sake.

Event : Sake Tasting: The Sake Samurai
Your tasting experience will be in Kyoto's Fushimi district, famous in Japan for the sake brewed there. About 300 varieties of sake from breweries throughout the country are being brought to Fushimi for tasting in three different venues.
Ticket :
¥1,000 (includes a small sake cup as a souvenir)
Show the small sake cup you received at the first venue, to continue your sake tasting experience at the other two venues.
You will also receive a list of the many sake brands available for tasting.
You do not have to reserve beforehand - just come directly to the venues. However, tasting is on a first come first served basis, limited to 500 people.

~Introduction to Select Sakes from 20 Fukui Breweries~
The Fukui Prefecture Sake Tasting event will introduce the many sake lovers in the capital region to the great sakes of Fukui Prefecture, which are made from "the great water and rice of Fukui."
Twenty breweries will all gather in one place, providing attendees the perfect opportunity to compare sake flavors and search out their favorites. This popular event is held twice a year in Fukui. Visitors can talk directly with the sake brewery owners while enjoying their choice sakes, and can learn about recommended food pairings.

This is our fourth annual saké tasting, the result of a collaboration between WSET®, Japan Airlines and saké exporters. Led by one of Japan's young and energetic saké producer, Mr Kosuke Kuji, this is a rare opportunity to discover the subtleties one of the world's great drinks, still not very well understood outside Japan. The evening will help you find out what makes fine saké tick.
