Butaman (Steamed meat bun) In the Kansai district steamed meat buns are usually called "butaman," as ground pork is contain within its white dough. Eating hot butaman prepared in a special steaming basket is a great pleasure.

Kombu (Tangle) One of Osaka's main souvenirs is kombu. In Osaka, tangle products such as the shavings of tangle, shredded tangle and salt tangle are produced from tangle brought down from Hokkaido so if you come across a well established tangle store it is highly recommended eating.
