Speed is vital in air cargo and mail transportation, as it strongly reflects global economic and social changes. JALCARGO meets requests from customers "determinedly, faithfully and creatively" in coordination with sales and airports around the globe as professionals.
The types of cargo we handle are varied, such as art works, pharmaceuticals and live animals, and their handling procedures are diverse. To provide service which suits the features of each cargo, the cargo division performs various duties to increase customer satisfaction, such as increasing handling quality, optimizing the transport network to transport every cargo we accept, and using the network to the fullest.
The planning department makes plans with a focus on facilitating smooth handling on the frontline as well as increasing revenue and profitability. To create the optimal forwarding plan without making impractical propositions, we go the departure airport to check whether the forwarding plan is unreasonable or not for airport traffic sections, and share information and coordinate with cargo sales sections and cargo space controlling sections to assure that the finest service can be provided at the arrival airport. To maintain a sense of the frontline, we consciously listen to comments from sales sections and airports, and gather as much information as possible inside and outside the company. The important thing is to keep in mind that there are pieces of information which we won't get if we keep quiet, and utilize the gathered information for the next job or business. We always share the gathered information internally to identify problems through analysis, find solutions in coordination with other departments, and increase the relationship of trust with our colleagues in order to provide unparalleled service.
The start line of our job is to consider "how we can optimize our cargo space and use it to the maximum." To achieve this, we actively tackle uncovered problems with a sense of ownership and the spirit of teamwork.
Sales staff not only meet requests of customers, but also strive to be creative and innovative. We explore new possibilities in air transportation together with the customer as their good business partner.
At the airport, we handle consignments with extra care. To transport each cargo and mail securely in a timely manner in the same condition as it was accepted, each staff feels affection for cargo and mail and provides safe and secure transport quality.
