Connecting Dreams
from the Skies.
February 2, 1954
In the era when the postwar disarray
still lingered, and Japan was
striving to
return to the international community,
JAL took off for the
world.
JAL became the first Japanese airline to
operate scheduled
international flights after World WarⅡ,
and the route that embodied this
pioneering spirit
was the flagship Tokyo
- Honolulu - San Francisco route.
Since then, JAL has responded to the
demands of the times and has
continued to play a behind-the-scenes
role in overseas travel, cultural
exchange, and trade.
This pioneering spirit is still in our DNA.
Today, the JAL Group has built
an
extensive overseas network, extending
to 376 airports in 64
countries/regions
and serving a great many customers.
Over the past 70 years, many
memorable stories have been created
that
have transcended time.
It is truly a testament to our history of
connecting people to people,
expanding and deepening the world.
JAL will continue to connect dreams
from the skies.
