Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about the JAL Sky Museum and factory tours. Please read this information before making your reservation.

How should I dress?

Please consider that the hangar has no air conditioning and is the same as the outdoor environment. For your safety, please refrain from wearing high heels, sandals, and platform shoes.

Can I use the restroom during the tour?

Restrooms are not available during the hangar tour. Please go before visiting the hangar, during the time given to explore the museum.

Is taking photos and videos allowed in the facility?

As a general rule, you can take pictures freely inside the tour facility, except for the Imperial Household Exhibition and the aviation classroom screen. Please enjoy the memories of the tour experience by sharing them with your family, friends, and acquaintances on social media.
However, please comply with the following matters.
1. Please refrain from using photos/videos taken inside the facility for commercial purposes.
2. For the following items, please refrain from posting them on the Internet (blogs, Facebook, etc.) or posting them in magazines, even if they are not for commercial purposes.
(1) Close-ups of exhibits in the archives (history) area, showing models, celebrities, or other public figures.
(2) Photos and videos showing faces of other participants in the factory tour in a recognizable way, for which you have not received permission to use.
(3) Photos and videos of airplanes of other companies maintained by JAL both inside and outside the hangar.

When using the photos and videos you have taken, please consider proper etiquette and the image rights of other participants. As it is dangerous, please also refrain from using smartphones, video cameras, etc. while walking. In addition, depending on the situation on the day, we may ask you to refrain from taking both photos and videos. In such a case, please follow the instructions of the guide in charge.

Can we see inside the planes?

Due to aviation security, it is not possible to enter the planes.

Can I ask a mechanic a question?

For safety reasons, we cannot accept questions to mechanics who are working. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the tour guides who are available to answer them.

Is there a place where I can store my baggage during the tour?

You can bring small baggage on the tour, but there is no place to store large baggage, so please leave your baggage at the coin lockers inside the Haneda Airport Domestic/International Passenger Terminal or Hamamatsucho Station.

Is it possible to take the tour in a wheelchair?

The dedicated staff will guide you, but please bring your own wheelchair. There is also a wheelchair-accessible restroom.

Where can I have lunch?

There are no places to eat within the tour facility, and please also refrain from bringing your own lunch. You may find places to eat in the Haneda Airport Domestic/International Passenger Terminal.
*Places to eat are not available near Shin-Seibijō Station.

Where can I buy JAL original goods?

You can purchase them at the shop inside the tour facility.

Is there a smoking area in the tour facility?

Smoking is not allowed in the tour facility. In addition, smoking is prohibited in the areas around the facility.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations are accepted online.
Please click the "Reservation" button on the upper right and make a reservation according to the "Reservation Flow" on the "Reservations" page.

On the "Check availability" page, I see "○, △, etc." but there are some places where I cannot click. How do I register for those slots?

As shown in the legend at the top of the reservation status for each month, even if ○, △ or 1, 2 are displayed, if there are not enough reservation slots for the desired number of people, the background color of the slot is dark and is not able to be selected.
In this case, there is not enough availability for the desired number of visitors.
Place the mouse cursor at the desired date and time, and select when the cursor mark changes to the hand (☝) mark.

The “Information Entry" page was displayed, but when I returned by clicking the back button on the page and then tried to enter the information again, the reservation for the day was full.

If you press the button of the available reservation date and time, a temporary reservation will be made. After the temporary reservation is made, the temporary reservation status will continue for a while. In this situation, if you check the availability of that date and time again, the number of availability displayed will reflect the number of availability with the temporary reservations deducted.
If you leave the registration form for a while without completing the registration, the reservation status will no longer be reflected and the latest availability status will be displayed.
Please note that the reservation procedure may be interrupted if you return to the previous page or close the page from the "Information Entry" page during the registration procedure.

I want to enter the necessary information in "Information Entry" and press the button to proceed to the next page, but the message "Email address has already been registered" is displayed. What should I do?

Email address has already been registered.
•Please check your registered name and date of birth before entering.
•Please register with a different email address.
•If your email address is used by more than one person, please contact us by email or telephone.

Regarding changes to tour date and time

If you would like to change the tour date and time, please cancel your current reservation and register again for the desired date and time.

What is the time limit to cancel my reservation or change the number of people?

For groups of 10 or more, we will accept changes up to 1 week in advance, and for groups of 9 or less, we will accept them up to 2 days before the tour.

Where can I change or cancel my reservation?

You can change or cancel your reservation from “Your Reservation Information” page (My Page).

How do I add more people to the reservation?

If there is availability for the reservation date and time, up to 5 people can be added.
Click "Make Changes" from "Your Reservation Information" page (My Page) to go to the "Changes to Your Reservation" page. If there is a vacancy in the reservation, click the "Add Accompanying Person" button and the information entry field for one person will be displayed; Enter the information for each person you wish to add and press "Make Changes" to register. This operation automatically increases the number of reservations.

How do I reduce the number of people on the reservation?

Click the “Make Changes" button in the "Your Reservation Information" page (My Page) to go to the "Changes to Your Reservation" page. In the "Change Information for Accompanying Person" column, select from the list of registered guests and click "delete" for the person whose reservation you need to cancel.
You can also reduce the number of reservations by deleting unnecessary parts in the same way.

Is it possible to change the representative?

Changes can only be made if the address is the same as the new representative. For a group (10 or more people), you can change the representative only if the representative belongs to that group.
At that time, please let us know the date and time of the tour, the name of the new representative, gender, date of birth, and the telephone number to contact on the day, using the following inquiry form.

In cases other than the above, please cancel your reservation and register for a new one.

Is it possible to change the name of the visiting group?

The group name cannot be changed. If you want to make a reservation with a different group name, please cancel the reservation once and register for a new one.

Is it possible to change the email address registered at the time of booking?

Email address cannot be edited. If you would like to change your e-mail address, please cancel your reservation and register for a new one.

One month before the tour, I received an e-mail saying "Subject: JAL factory tour-SKY facility -Request for accompanying person information registration". What is the time limit to register before it gets canceled?

Click the "Make Changes" button in "Your Reservation Information" page (My Page) to go to the "Changes to Your Reservation" page, and register directly in the "Change Information for Accompanying Person" field, or register as a batch in the specified format. Please note that if you do not register at least one week before the tour date, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
e.g. If the visit date is Wednesday, it will be automatically canceled on the previous Thursday.

What is "My Page"?

"Your Reservation Information" page (My Page) is a dedicated page for guests who have made a reservation. Under "My Page" you can check, change or cancel your reservation, or make new reservations. The URL, user name (registered email address), and password for accessing "My Page" will be notified by email when the reservation is confirmed.

I forgot my password.

Enter from "Guests who have registered" on the "Reservation" page, and click "Forgot password (reset password)" on the "Confirm/Change/Cancel Reservation" page, and apply for a temporary password.
A temporary password will be sent to your registered email address.
When applying, you will need your registered name, email address, and date of birth.

How should I open My Page?

When you make a reservation for the first time and open My Page, please follow the procedure below.
・ Please check the reservation confirmation email.
・ Click the URL provided by email (https://jalfactorytour.secure.force.com/mypage/).
・ Enter your user name and temporary password.
・ The page will change from a temporary password to a personal password, so please set your own password.
After setting the password, you will be able to move on to "My Page."

(For representatives who chose to register temporarily without registering any accompanying person information) How should I register the accompanying person information?

Click the "Make Changes" button in "Your Reservation Information" page (My Page) to go to the "Changes to Your Reservation" page, and register directly in the "Change Information for Accompanying Person" field, or register as a batch in the specified format.
The operation for batch registration is as follows.

1. How to obtain a members list file with the specified format
Click "Make Changes" in the reservation status of My Page, under "Change Information for Accompanying Person” select "Batch-register accompanying people’s details (CSV format)." Click "Download members list file with specified format" to download the members list file (CSV_Format) to your PC. Please do not change the name of CSV_Format when downloading.

2. How to enter accompanying persons into the members list file with the specified format
The representative has already been registered, so please enter only the accompanying persons. (e.g. If you are booking for 25 people total, please enter the information of the 24 accompanying people other than the representative.) If the number of accompanying people decreases, please enter the "Changes to Your Reservation" page of My Page and delete them by clicking "Change Information for Accompanying Person." When overwriting, the question "Do you want to convert the file to an Excel file such as .csv or .xls and overwrite it?" is displayed; please save the file as .csv. Please note that if you change to an Excel file, batch registration will not be accepted.

3. Upload the created members list file
On the same page as when you obtained the members list file (CSV_Format), press "Upload list" to import the members list file. The file name "CSV_Format" of the imported list is displayed.
Please click the "Batch registration" button. The uploaded list will be reflected on the reservation change page, so if you click "Make Changes" at the bottom, registration will be completed. To check if your accompanying person information is registered, please click the "Details" button in the reservation status.

Notes regarding the CSV file
Please do not rename the file.
When overwriting it, the question "Do you want to convert the file to an Excel file such as .csv or .xls and overwrite it?" is displayed. Please save the file as .csv. Please note that if you change to an Excel file, batch registration will not be accepted.
Please upload the overwritten members list file (CSV_Format) to My Page.

"An error has occurred" is displayed many times.

Please close the window that is open now and try again.
If you still get the error, go to Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Delete; open "Delete Browsing History"; Put check marks next to "Keep favorite website data," "Temporary Internet files," "Cookie," and "History."
Press "Delete."
Close "Internet Options" and try again.
If you enter your user name (registered e-mail address) and incorrect password on the login page to My Page, you may be locked out.
In this case, it can be unlocked if you apply for a temporary password from "Forgot your password (reset password)."

Please tell me about the measures being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections in the facility.

We are asking our guests for cooperation with the following to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections.
・ Take temperature when entering the facility.
・ Wear a mask at all times during the tour.
・ Refrain from visiting the facility if you have symptoms such as fever (fever, cough, fatigue, etc.).
・ Use disinfectant sprays during the tour of the exhibition hall.
・ Keep an appropriate distance from each other to prevent the "Three Cs"

Preventative measures taken by staff are as follows.
・ All staff wear masks.
・ Temperatures are taken before starting work, and hands are washed and sterilized with disinfectant spray when arriving at the facility.
