Facilities and equipment inside maintenance hangars are managed appropriately in accordance with environment-related laws, such as the six pollution acts (Air Pollution Control Act, Water Pollution Control Act, Offensive Odor Control Act, Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act, Vibration Regulation Law, and Noise Regulation Law). There have been no violations of the six pollution acts in the past five years.

The volume and final disposal rate of industry wastes generated from domestic offices

The JAL Group aims to reduce industrial waste generated from domestic business offices and achieve a final disposal rate of 2% or below.
In FY2012, waste increased due to realignment of the Haneda maintenance area and cabin seat retrofitting, but through cost reduction initiatives through the 3Rs, we have reduced waste and achieved the final disposal rate. There have been no serious violations of waste-related laws in the past five years.
