To realize the JAL Group Corporate Policy, we strive to build a corporate foundation that respects human rights by encouraging every staff to embody our code of conduct, JAL Philosophy. It is indispensable that staff have a correct understanding of human rights to eliminate discrimination based on gender, age, nationality, race, ethnicity, religious belief, social status, disability and such. Therefore, we have set aside time in our training courses such as orientation training for new staff and training for new managers to promote human rights to instill a sense of respect towards human rights.
In addition, the JAL Group has been participating in the U.N. Global Compact since December 2004, and has pledged to promote respect of human rights in all its corporate activities.
