Fund-raising activities by volunteer staff

We conduct fund-raising activities in Haneda Airport Terminal 1 in December each year. Contributions collected from customers are donated to NPO "Japan Committee, Vaccines for the World's Children (JVC)," which provides vaccines for children in developing countries. We express our appreciation to everyone for your donations.

Cooperation for transportation for LSH Shogakukai

LSH Asia Shogakukai praises the courageous act by Lee Soo Hyun, who risked his life to rescue a man he had never met who had fallen onto the railway tracks. It provides financial assistance for students as a bridge between Asia and Japan. JAL supports the purpose of the scholarship and cooperates by providing transportation to students to come to Japan to attend the scholarship presentation ceremony.

Postcard campaign

In this campaign, miswritten postcards are collected from staff around the year-end and New Year period. We contribute the post cards to NPO "Japan Habitat Association," which uses the funds to improve the housing and sanitary environment of AIDS orphans in Africa, build schools in areas affected by floods in Myanmar, and such.

Visit to children's hospital (London)

At Christmas and Easter every year, staff of London Cabin Attendants base collect presents from colleagues and visit West Middlesex Hospital for children. This activity started in 1994 with the staff's wish to make some kind of contribution to society and continues to date.
