At the Airport
Flat zebra passageways with large black and white tiles make it easier for those with impaired vision to get around.
The flat surface is also safer for all to walk on as there is reduced risk of tripping and stumbling - a potential hazard of the older walkways that used raised bumps.
More airports are now using these new flat tiles.
This is only one of many universal design improvements that are making airports more accessible for everyone.
