completed | 2023 | MAY | We received a report from an employee of a company with which we do business (the employee is not involved in our business transactions) stating that they were subjected to discriminatory treatment within their company. Taking into account the opinions of our relevant departments and an NPO, we conducted a visit to the company. Through discussions on the JAL Group Supplier Code of Conduct, we requested care for the said employee. Six months later, we conducted a follow-up interview in person and confirmed that appropriate care had been provided to the employee and that continued support would be ensured, thus concluding our response. |

Response in progress | 2023 | JUNE | We received a report from the labor union's consulting lawyer of an overseas company with which we do business, alleging that the company was not complying with relevant laws and regulations. Taking into account the opinions of our relevant departments and NPOs, we visited the company and engaged in discussions and readings of the JAL Group Supplier Code of Conduct with the management. We conducted a fact-finding investigation regarding the reported issue with the company and confirmed that there were no problems. Subsequently, we have continued to visit the company every quarter, engaging in dialogue with the management and conveying our sincere response to the union. |
