    "Bouquet"

    Shotaro Takeuchi/TamuTamu House Nakayama Workshop/Miyagi

Born in 1992, Shotaro Takeuchi lives in Sendai and has been a member of TamuTamu House since 2011. Always the first to arrive, his cheerful greeting signals the start of the day. His artistic journey started with simple rows of tiny circles, but everything changed when he picked up a fine-tipped pen. With newfound precision, he began to see the bigger picture, skillfully weaving negative space into his compositions. Now, with paint, colored pencils, and a designer’s eye, he crafts intricate, dynamic works that brim with personality. And if you’ve met him, chances are – he remembers your name. (Well… most of the time)

    "Tropical Bird Feathers."

    Kayano Tanida/Chiang Mai, Thailand

Each morning, she rises at 7 a.m., without the need for an alarm, starting her day with a glass of strawberry milk and a simple bowl of plain yogurt – no fruit, just the essentials. With an impressive skill for mastering games, she moves through them with ease, living life on her own terms, guided by a sharp sense of dedication and unique perspective. For Kayano, discovering acrylic paints was the turning point that sparked her happiness. Creating art became a daily ritual, with her vibrant, soul-stirring expressions capturing the world she sees. These paintings are her way of speaking, a language of color and form that says more than words ever could.

    "Arôme"

    Hélène Dum./A92/France

Hélène Dum joined Atelier A92 in Nanterre, France, after spending most of her life without drawing. Since then, she has built a steady routine: she draws all day, Monday to Friday, and treats the studio as her true passion. She enjoys new projects and competitions and feels happiest when she can focus on careful, detailed work. Nature and animals often inspire her ideas, and she also loves sweets, cakes, and discovering cuisines from around the world.
Her process is simple: she sometimes wets the paper first, lets it dry, and then draws what comes to mind. Watercolor and drawing ink are her usual materials, sometimes mixed with other tools or direct hand marks. She “plays” with layering, framing, transparency, and reflection, filling her images with small details that invite a second look — viewers often notice something new each time. Outside of art, she still loves a jolt of excitement and dreams of trying skydiving someday — the same curiosity and appetite for new sensations quietly thread through her creative practice.
