Until the Resumption of 787 Operations

We implemented corrective actions (modification work) such as installing modified batteries on all seven 787 aircraft in our fleet. To resume operations, we also corrected other past malfunctions.

Furthermore, as our 787s had been grounded for many months, we checked aircraft systems in detail, operated confirmation flights, and verified that systems ran normally in flight. In addition, our flight crewmembers performed familiarization flights and other training. As all preparations have been completed, and we have confirmed that customers can fly JAL with a sense of security, JAL has decided to resume 787 operations.

The schedule of JAL's resumed 787 operations is shown below. Modification work and work to release parked aircraft were performed on every seven of JAL's 787 aircraft.
