Promotion Organization
The Sustainability Promotion Committee chaired by Executive Officer in charge of Sustainability Promotion Department meets around each month to review progress and discuss initiatives with relevant officers. The Sustainability Promotion Council, chaired by the President, addresses sustainability issues through management review on the following agenda items.
- Decide major issues and annual targets for sustainability initiatives, and monitor and evaluate them
- Decide actions to address risks and opportunities of climate change and biodiversity
- Monitor and evaluate the Environmental Management System
- Monitor and evaluate human rights due diligence
The agenda items are reported to the Board of Directors, where they are discussed. Going forward, we will submit key issues on sustainability to the Board for deliberation and pursue enhanced corporate value.
