New Year’s Greetings

I would like to extend my greetings at the beginning of this new year and take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.

During the previous year, there was an increased vitality in the air transportation of people and goods around the world. I am grateful to you all, who chose the JAL Group services from among diverse options, from airlines, including LCCs, to mileage programs. Furthermore, the successful Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, provided a valuable opportunity to cement the irreplaceable value of joining hands with people from different cultures. During the event, the JAL Group offered an immersive theater and exhibition featuring eVTOL,　which allowed visitors to experience mobility in the not-too-distant future. Witnessing our customers' excitement renewed our determination to dedicate our efforts to create a future society.

Today we are in a period of a sea change, marked by shifts in the global environment and adaptations to new lifestyles and communication patterns. Rapid advances in digital technologies, including AI, have dramatically increased convenience in daily life and expanded virtual activities. Yet precisely because of this, I believe the value of human connection and heartfelt interaction will be treasured, along with the experience of appreciating and being touched by new worlds.

The JAL Group will launch a new Management Plan starting in fiscal year 2026. We believe that the connections between people, regions, and society are the key to solving social issues, achieving people's well-being, and realizing environmental and social sustainability. Please look forward to an exciting future that transcends the framework of aviation. This year, all JAL Group employees will spread our wings to ensure our services not only assist your air transportation but also enrich your daily life at every touchpoint.
