  • We will modernize to fuel efficient aircraft.
  • We will pursue CO2 emission reduction initiatives under programs such as eco-flight activities, reduce weight of loads, clean engines, among others.
  • Going forward, we will cooperate with Air Traffic Control related ministries, agencies, and authorities in each country, among others, to proactively implement advanced flight systems with optimum fuel efficiencies
  • We will reduce total CO2 emissions from our ground vehicles.
  • We will promote energy conservation activities in our ground facilities, such as our offices, and factories, to name a few.

(2) Effective Utilization of Limited Resources

  • We will use less water.
  • We will reduce food waste.
  • We will use less plastic.
  • We will move from paper-based to digital documents.

  • We will raise awareness within and outside our company about the importance of biodiversity.

Development of Environmental Technology

  • We will proactively proceed in using bio-jet fuel.
  • We will continue to cooperate and participate in the Comprehensive Observation Network for Trace gases by an Airliner (CONTRAIL) Project, a study to monitor the CO2 density on the Earth to unravel global warming mechanisms.
  • We will cooperate in the studies and development of future aircrafts and flight operation systems with low environmental impact.

Raising Awareness

  • We will proactively promote environmental activities for our employees and educational programs about the environment for our employees and their families.
  • We will continue Soraiku, an environmental awareness program in which pilots visit primary and junior high schools around Japan and explain changes on Earth as seen from the sky.
