"Bouquet"
Shotaro Takeuchi/TamuTamu House Nakayama Workshop/MiyagiBorn in 1992, Shotaro Takeuchi lives in Sendai and has been a member of TamuTamu House since 2011. Always the first to arrive, his cheerful greeting signals the start of the day. His artistic journey started with simple rows of tiny circles, but everything changed when he picked up a fine-tipped pen. With newfound precision, he began to see the bigger picture, skillfully weaving negative space into his compositions. Now, with paint, colored pencils, and a designer’s eye, he crafts intricate, dynamic works that brim with personality. And if you’ve met him, chances are – he remembers your name. (Well… most of the time)

Hiroshi Yoshida/ATELIER YOOHOO!!/KyotoOriginally focusing on ceramics, Hiroshi Yoshida began painting in earnest in 2014. His early works, primarily in oil pastels, often depicted animals. Over time, as he expanded his subjects to include landscapes, cityscapes, and people, he shifted to using colored pencils. While he often works from photographs, his colors emerge more vivid and pop-like than in reality—a hallmark of his style. In particular, his portrayals of people exude cheerfulness and humor, leaving viewers with a sense of joy.

"Ivy Brick Wall"
SATO/Boston, USAIt has become SATO’s daily routine to create an artwork at home, since he first encountered the world of watercolor painting at a summer camp at the age of 10,He doesn't follow any motif, rather he chooses a combination of several colors from his palette based on his mood and feelings and fills a large-sized drawing paper with a watery touch, reminiscent of jellybeans or raindrops. To ensure the hues remain pure, he prefers using a specific transparent watercolor paints made in the United States. When people compliment his artwork, saying, "It's beautiful," he happily echoes back, "It's beautiful." In his leisure time, he enjoys activities such as weaving, playing the piano, and dancing at an art class in Boston.

"Strawberry Shortcake"
Yukihiro Kokubo/ATELIER YOOHOO!!/KyotoWith bold, dynamic strokes, Yukihiro Kokubo layers oil pastels and acrylic paints with powerful, repeated applications to create richly textured works. The density of his crayon work is extraordinary—so much so that when lifting the thick paper, one can feel its substantial weight. Drawn to objects on the verge of breaking, he has an impulse to dismantle them, a force that also drives his artmaking; he often uses up an entire crayon on a single piece, as if channeling an inner surge of energy directly onto the paper. At times, he paints while softly humming a distinctive melody, his presence carrying a quiet sense of melancholy.

"Unknown"
Shigaku Mizukami/atelier yamanami/ShigaAs a child, he enjoyed drawing anime characters, but after he started attending Yamanami Workshop, he began drawing patterns as soon as he picked up the brushes and rulers available in the room. His work features countless colored fan-shapes and dots. The brush movements and the way he places dots are methodical, repeating the same actions slowly. It’s unclear whether he has a specific image in mind, whether he’s simply enjoying the colors and movements, or what he feels as he draws. However, the way he uses his brush for lines and the arrangement of dots seem to indicate how he is feeling at that moment in time.
