PHOTO : 7TH JAL TANCHO (RED-CROWNED VRANE) PHOTO CONTEST PRIZE-WINNING WORKS
Application reception is now closed.
Thank you very much for your many applications.
Results will be announced on this website in Mid-July.
This winter, JAL invites you to take part in its 8th JAL Tancho (Red-Crowned Crane) Photo Contest.
JAL Group recognizes that biodiversity conservation and awareness activities are urgently needed around the world.
As an airline that inevitably places a burden on the environment, we believe it is our responsibility to help convey the importance of protecting biodiversity to future generations.
Also, by experiencing the nature where red-crowned cranes and other wildlife live, and by connecting with the people and unique culture of these regions, we hope that new relationships and connections will emerge.
We aim to protect the beautiful nature that surrounds us,
and to help ensure that encounters with new regions and landscapes become “favorite places” for many.
The symbol on the tail of JAL aircraft is inspired by the red-crowned crane, a Special Natural Monument of Japan.
We invite you to submit your photographs to this contest—capturing the importance of biodiversity and your appreciation for the regions and nature you encountered.
