Anti-Corruption Framework
1. Top Commitment
The Anti-Corruption Policy is implemented under the approval of the General Affairs Division Executive Officer (Chief Compliance Officer). Executive Officers of each headquarters division and business division serve as Compliance Officers for their respective divisions. In the case of serious corruption incidents, these are promptly reported to the Board of Directors, and a structure is in place to ensure swift and appropriate responses.
2. Established Procedures for Addressing Violations
The JAL Group has developed a transparent and fair investigation system to address acts of corruption promptly and appropriately. This system includes a reporting system as outlined in the internal Risk Management Manual, as well as an internal reporting system that ensures anonymity.
These mechanisms create an environment where employees can report issues without concern, enabling early responses and appropriate resolutions.
3. Response to Violations
If officers or employees (including dispatch workers, part-time staff, and temporary workers) violate anti-corruption laws, regulations, or internal policies, they will be strictly disciplined in accordance with the relevant internal regulations.
4. Training for Anti-Corruption Measures
The JAL Group conducts regular training to ensure that all employees fully understand and comply with laws, ethical standards, and basic policies related to anti-bribery and corruption. These training sessions include specific examples and case studies, aiming to equip employees with the ability to make appropriate decisions and act correctly in their day-to-day work.
With a commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities as a member of society, the JAL Group strives to maintain high transparency and continuously strengthens its anti-corruption measures to earn the trust of its stakeholders.
